Mini-Symposium on
Hyperbolic Models and Theories in Nonlinear Solid Mechanics

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to participate in the Mini-Symposium on Nonlinear Material Characterization using Inverse Simulation Methods within the 4th Canadian Conference on Nonlinear Solid Mechanics, CanCNSM 2013, that will be held July 23-26, 2013, at McGill University, Montréal, Canada.

We welcome extended abstracts and full papers submissions on the following topics, but not limited to:

  • Inverse problem and FEM
  • Non-linear material property estimation using contract sensor data
  • Non-linear material property estimation using non-contract imaging sensors
  • Methodologies to estimate material properties using inverse simulation methods
  • Effect of material property estimation on simulation precision
  • Applications of inverse simulation methods

Information on abstracts and paper submission is available on conference website:

Please let us know as soon as possible your intention to participate in the Mini-Symposium by contacting the symposium organizer Pierre Boulanger

Looking forward to meeting you in Montreal at CanCNSM,
